IP Addressing scheme:

Washington Elementary School District has been given a class B IP address of 130.10.0.0. This will be divided into subnets by borrowing 7 bits from the host portion, giving 508 hosts per subnet. Subnet mask is therefore 255.255.254.0

Note:

Two subnets will be reserved for each school to allow for the implementation of two virtual LANs (VLANs). One VLAN for the Curriculum (C) network for student use and one for the Administration (A) network for staff use.
